Today is the day, we're visiting the concentration camps of World War II. We're all really nervous for some reason, we know more or less what to expect, but we dont know how we'll react... well no point waiting here, lets go!
We just got off our train from Krakow to Oswiecim ( it was a 1.5 hour train ride) and now we're getting on our bus to the concentration camps, it should take 10 min.
We've arrived...A local guide is giving us a 15 minute documentary about the liberation camps and now we're going to be entering the museum.As we pass by the gas chambers, i feel quite tense,nervous and emotional. I get images in my brain of people being tortured. The guide is taking us next to the sur
viving prision blocks and the crematorium.Wow, what an emotional day really. One of my friends broke into tears for how sorry she felt for those people who went through those horrible times.
Tonight its Krakow By Night. We're getting dolled up and we're going to explore the nightlife and meet new people. Word on the street is club Cocon is a great club, we did some research and they say they have amazing music and 2 dance floors, 3 bars and a summer terrasse. I guess tonight is the night we'll be tasting Poland's famous VODKA!
